You need to do this within 2 days of installation. * (Warranty void from day 1 if locks are Installed / Repaired / Opened by unauthorized technicians.) you will receive a call from our authorized executive to record warranty related details of product and give you a Warranty Registration number. You need to produce this number every time when demanded by Godrej Trained Technician. Please refer Warranty terms under AMC & Warranty Tab.

In an event of lost key / misplaced key, there are chances of it getting misused by an unauthorized person. Therefore, it is highly recommended to change the cylinder / lock with the new key in such cases.

Do's
  • Ensure the product is installed by authorised technician.
  • Ensure the product is mounted on painted door/panels.
  • Ensure owner's manual/installation slip and markers are used for installing the product.
  • Ensure the product is installed and working properly.
  • Use only a soft cloth to clean the surface of the product.
  • Use of WD40 spray is recommended in case the product doesnot function smoothly.
  • Wipe clean excess WD40 after application to prevent staining.
  • Contact Godrej service personnel or call on toll free number provided in case of help required.
  • Ensure using lock specific keys to operate the lock.
  • Ensure key is fully inserted into the cylinder/cartridge prior to lock operation.
  • Spare keys are to be stored in a place accessible only to authorised people.
  • Always carry keys to avoid "lockout" situation. In case of "lockout", call authorised Godrej service personnel for opening locked doors.
  • Ensure accessories are as per content list mentioned on packaging available prior to product installation.
  • Use only recommended accessories supplied with the product for installation.
  • Keep loose keys away from infants/children to avoid choking hazard.
  • Wherever provided, ensure the shutter caps are in closed condition after use.
  • In case the key is misplaced or lost, it is recommended to replace the cartridge for rim & mortise locks to avoid misuse by unauthorised people.

  • Ensure that the lock and cartridge are covered properly to avoid ingress of dust/sand/water etc during product installation, room painting, cleaning etc.
Dont's
  • Do not paint/varnish the product.
  • Do not use oil based lubricants for the product.
  • Do not hammer, file or modify the product and keys.
  • Do not drop the product and keys. It will lead to damage and malfunctioning.
  • Do not use the key as bottle opener/can-opener. It will damage the key.
  • Do not use damaged key to operate lock, it will cause malfunctioning of the lock.
  • Do not keep the deadbolt extended (rim lock and mortise lock) in open door condition. This may damage the product due to unintended closure.
  • Do not use keys & knobs to pull the door.
  • Do not try to disassemble the product in case on malfunctioning. Contact only authorised Godrej Service personnel in case of help required.
  • Do not use unauthorised keys to operate the product, it may cause malfunctioning of the product.
  • Do not use acetone/acid based surface cleaners to clean the product.
  • Do not put foreign particles like dust/sand/tar etc in the cylinder and in the lock.
  • Do not use screwdriver/metal strips to operate the cylinder.
  • Do not use the product for any unintended purpose other than specified.
  • Do not use stickers on the suface of the product.
  • Wherever provide, do not remove the color buttons from the keys. Loose buttons may cause choking hazard to infants/children if injested.
  • Do not use abrasive papers/rough cloths/scrub pads etc other than a soft cloth on the surface of the product for cleaning
